3 People Stabbed in Hamilton; Police Arrest Suspect

On Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at approximately 4:00 PM, Hamilton officers responded to the area of Bromley Park in regards to a past tense disturbance involving several people fighting.

Responding officers were immediately dispatched to St. Francis Hospital and Capital Health Regional Medical Center (Trenton) on a report of two females and a male who was stabbed.

All three victims sustained serious but non– life-threatening injuries.

During the course of their investigation, Hamilton detectives established probable cause to file charges against Shaquanna Hearns, age 18, of the 1600 block of E. State Street, Hamilton Township, N.J, for the stabbing of all three victims. Shaquanna Hearns was charged with (3) counts of aggravated assault, along with additional charges that included possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Although having been charged, every defendant is presumed innocent until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
