July 17:When it comes to comebacks, the Cardinals know how to get things done.

Rallying from two huge, late deficits, the team managed by Robert Bowling rolled a strike by winning the Hamilton Little Lads Minor Division playoff title with a 20-19 win over the Dodgers in the championship game last week. The Cards entered the bottom of the sixth trailing 14-8 and plated a half dozen to force extra innings. The Dodgers responded with five in the top of the seventh, before the persistent Cards tallied six more for a walk-off win.

The championship roster featured Makai Blackstone, Robert Bowling, Cooper Bruschi, Jackson Burd, Jordan Burd, Zachary Conklin, Adam foster, Jahari Hamilton, Stalin Hernandez, Austin Saison-West and John Paul Santos. Bowling’s assistant coaches were Drew Bruschi and Dave Conklin.
