Around 4:30 in the afternoon on Tuesday, March 28th various Hamilton Fire Departments along with the members of the Robbinsville Fire Department responded to a house fire on Burholme Drive in the Locust Hill Adult Community located off Yardville-Hamilton Square Road.

The residents were not home at the time of the fire and no one was reported injured.

Police and Fire officials evacuated several homes in the vicinity of the fire.

Smoke and flames could be seen engulfing and billowing from the home.

The fire was contained and under control by 5 PM that evening according to officials.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by township fire marshal.
