Five More Hamilton Hornets to Continue Football Career in College

Five Hornet football players recently got together in front of the Hamilton West trophy case to celebrate the fact they will be playing college football next year. The Fab Five include (from left) James White (Wesley College), Keith Allen (Wilkes University) Scott Dunscomb (Rowan University) Mark Bethea (Gettysburg College) and Zach Harding (Delaware Valley University). Back in February, Reidgee Dimanche signed a Letter of Intent to play for Stony Brook.  In the below photo, the players are joined by coaches and administrators, including (from left) coaches Mike Costello and Gerry Van Slooten, Principal Brian Smith, coach Mike “The Meatball Master” Papero, athletic trainer Jen Bauer, head coach Tom Hoglen and assistants Tom Dolina and Ken “The Facebook King” Nehila; and Athletic Director John “Johnny Snapshot” Costantino.  Photos courtesy of Jennifer Harding/HHW Football Booster Club President.

About The Author

Rich Fisher has been around the Hamilton Township sports scene for so long that he actually got Rich Giallella’s autograph when Giallella was still a player! Proud product of Hamilton YMCA and Lou Gehrig baseball leagues and former teammate of Jim Maher on a very average Barton & Cooney rec basketball team, Fish graduated from Nottingham Junior High and Steinert High school and has covered township sports since 1980. His goal in life is to convince Maria Prato that Jersey tomatoes are at least 100 times better than California tomatoes.
