Hamilton Township Councilmen announce Hamilton road repair state grant money

Today, Hamilton Township Council President Jeff Martin, Council Vice-President Rick Tighe and Councilman Anthony Carabelli, Jr. thanked Governor Murphy, Senator Linda Greenstein, Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo and Assemblyman & Transportation Chairman Dan Benson for awarding Hamilton $545,000 in grant money for road improvements on Paxson Avenue.

“This money will go a long way to improving Hamilton and our infrastructure,” said Martin. “With these road improvements, we can show businesses that we will continue to improve our infrastructure and be a place they want to do business.”

“I am grateful to our LD-14 state legislators who fought for this money, and to Governor Murphy and the NJDOT for recognizing how much Hamilton will benefit from this investment”, said Tighe.  “This money will help Hamilton control property taxes by off-setting a large portion of the cost of these road improvements.”

“It is great to have state legislators (Greenstein, DeAngelo and Benson) who have the back of Hamiltonians and will fight for our community” said Carabelli.  “Paxson Avenue is a heavily traveled roadway and in need of improvement.”
