Hamilton VFW Post 3525 to host Memorial Day Service

The Hamilton VFW Post 3525 in Yardville, NJ will hold a short service to honor the military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces on Sunday, May 25, 2020 at 9 am.

Their address is 77 Christine Ave Hamilton Township, Mercer County, New Jersey 08619

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic both the Memorial Day parades in Hamilton have been canceled.

Here is the message they posted on their facebook page

Good day comrades,

We hope all is well with you and your families during these covid times. We are always here to help support you as needed.

FYI, we are still having our Memorial Day post ceremony on Memorial Day Monday 5/25/20. It will begin at 9am next to the flag pole. This is an outdoor event.

We will be set up safe distance with our seating chairs or if you feel more comfortable, relaxed and safe you can stay in your vehicle in the grass across from the flag pole.

Due to covid, we will NOT be having coffee & donuts prior to the ceremony.

Also we did receive 250 grave flags so we will be heading to greenwood cemetery after the ceremony to place flags at our fallen comrades headstones. This is open to anyone who would like to take part. We are always apart there so no issues with social distancing.

We hope you can join us as we honor and remember our fallen comrades.

See you all Monday morning at 9am.
