House Collapse on South Broad Street; Rescuers search for trapped victims

Hamilton, NJ – A residential building completely collapsed to the ground on the 1800 block of South Broad Street in Hamilton early Monday morning trapping multiple people in the fallen structure.

Rescue crews that included Hamilton Township Fire Department, Trenton Fire Department, and New Jersey State Police Search and Rescue worked to locate people in the rubble from the collapse.

South Broad Street is closed in the area. It is unclear what caused the collapse.
