The Little Free Library was dedicated to retired Kisthardt teacher Marianne Hornyak. HTEA and Mrs. Hornyak support reading and thanks to them we are able to spread that love with our own Free Little Library. Staff and former students were in attendance to show their love and support for Mrs. Hornyak.
A Little Free Library is a “take a book, return a book” free exchange. Students at Kisthardt are encouraged to read, but not all students have books readily available at home. A generous donation of books from the Kisthardt PTA also helped to kick off the grand opening. The Little Free library will be another way to get books into the hands of our children.
