Mercerville’s Whittle sets record in winning USATF Youth 100 hurdles event

Mercerville’s Shamali Whittle became the United States Amateur Track & Field Association’s 100 hurdles gold medal winner by running an association record 13.52 at the 13/14-year-old USATF National Championships in New York this past weekend. The incoming Nottingham High freshman also took third in the 100 meters, as his impressive youth track resume’ continues to grow.
