MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce Names New CFO/COO

Janell Zoratti returns to the MIDJersey Chamber staff in a new role to provide operational leadership.

  The MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce announced today that Janell Zoratti has been appointed Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer. This appointment marks a return to the Chamber staff for Zoratti, who served as CFO of the organization from 2010 until 2016.

As CFO/COO, Zoratti will be charged with managing the chamber’s accounting and financial reporting functions as well as, ensuring the fiscal health of the Chamber and maintaining a sound administrative structure. Her leadership will be critical in the coming months, as the Board continues a robust, national search for the organization’s next CEO.

“The Board of Directors is thrilled to welcome Janell Zoratti back to the Chamber team,” said Chairman of the Board Paul Kuhl. “She is incredibly capable, experienced and professional, and she will be a valuable asset as we get closer to naming a new CEO.”

“I started as an administrator with the Chamber twelve years ago, and the organization provided me with a wonderful place to learn and grow as a professional in the business community,” said Zoratti. “I am excited to return to the Chamber at this exciting time in its history.”

Zoratti holds a bachelor’s degree in Management and Finance from Rider University, and she volunteers her time with a host of non-profit organizations throughout the region including the Hamilton Area YMCA and Advancing Opportunities. In returning to the Chamber, she left her post at Connoisseur Media, where she served as a Business Manager from 2016 until recently.
