The MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce announced today that Thomas F. Curtin has been named its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Curtin will assume his responsibilities beginning Monday, July 24, 2017.
Curtin a business development professional with more than 30 years of hands on experience and proven expertise in developing and directing a team, brings a unique approach to business development, and a solid track record of delivering results.
“Curtin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Chamber,” said Chair of the Board Paul Kuhl. “His professional experience, ability to communicate and passion for our work makes him uniquely qualified to lead our Chamber into the future. He is a top performer who exhibits a flawless record in designing and overseeing strategic initiatives, increasing revenue, enhancing operations, generating new products and driving market growth.” Kuhl continued, “The Board is impressed with his skill set for planning, prioritizing and goal-setting to achieve optimal outcomes and increase the opportunities for our membership. We anticipate seeing Tom drive the MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce towards organizational success and optimal growth.”
Most recently, Curtin was the Publisher of NJBiz where he was responsible for various strategic initiatives that enabled NJBiz to compete effectively and profitably, driving its success in a highly competitive industry. He was instrumental in strengthening the NJBiz brand and developing marketing partnerships and collaborations with various Chambers of Commerce and business organizations across the State of New Jersey.
“As incoming Chair of the Chamber, I am thrilled that Tom has agreed to join our Chamber to help take the MIDJersey Chamber to the next level and I look forward to working with him,” said Jeannine Cimino. “We have ambitious goals that we want to achieve, and I know he is ready to get to work on behalf of our members.
