Northstars boys take two golds and set two records at Lavino Relays

Alix Oge was part of a  4×55 shuttle hurdle team that took first place and set a school record for Nottingham at the Lavino Relays in Lawrenceville Saturday.

: It was another productive day at the office for the Nottingham High track & field teams, as the Northstars got busy with two gold medals accompanied by two school records at the Lavino Relays at the Lawrenceville School Jan. 12.

The 4×55 shuttle hurdle team of Shamali Whittle, Kernley Charles, Cory Jean-Louis and Alix Oge took first place with a school record time of 31.7. Louis Akpadago, Whittle, Judeson Mirac and Dana Ridley combined for to set a school mark of 1:31.73 in taking first in the 4×200.

The Stars claimed third in the 4×400 (3:31.83) behind Whittle, Ridley, Emilio Selesnick and Erik Patrone, while the sixth-place sprint medley squad of Akpadago, Ridley, Selesnick and Patrone clocked a 3:44.75.

On the girls side, Kayla Mulrine and Bailey Kiernan combined for a mark of 64-6-1/2 for third place in the long jump. The 4×400 team of Chadsity Molder, Isabelle Miranda, Mia Davis and Karen Isaac were sixth in the 4×400 in 4:27.57.
