Nottingham boys rock it at CVC Relays with three first-place finishes

Jan. 4: A strong start for the Nottingham High track & field teams continued on Jan. 2 at the Colonial Valley Conference Relays, as the Northstars took three first-place finishes and set a school record in the process.

For the boys, the 55 shuttle hurdle team won in a school record time of 31.15 behind Alix Oge, Shamali Whittle, Cory Louis Jean and Kernley Charles.

First-place finishes also came from the 4×200 team of Louis Akpadago, Judeson Mirac, Emilio Selesnick and Dana Ridley (1:32.36) and the 4×400 squad of Charles, Whittle, Ridley and Selesnick.

The sprint medley quartet of Akpadago, Ridley, Selesnick and Eric Patrone claimed second in 3:46.21. In the shot put, which was an individual event, Geordany Alexis was fourth in 42-9-1/2.

On the girls side, the 4×200 team of  Chadsity Molder, Isabelle Miranda, Mia Davis and Karen Isaac were sixth in 1:57.28. The same four finished sixth in the 4×400 in 4:43.8.
