Papero Gets First Win As Hamilton West Head Coach!

Hamilton High West Football Coach Mike Papero picked up his first win as the team’s varsity head coach in a 28 to 21 victory over West Windsor Plainsboro.

Hamilton West Running Back Kevin Boswell’s three-touchdown game was the difference in the end as Boswell rushed for just under 250 yards on the day.

“It was hard to run inside on them, but I was able to get outside. That’s where I live,” explained Boswell.

The junior running back opened up the game in the first offensive series for the Hornets with a 62-yard touchdown that set the tone.

In a game that went nearly three hours because of countless penalties by both teams, Hamilton found a way to scrape out a win against a much improved WWP team.

“A win’s a win but we do expect more out of ourselves… for right now I’m going to not be a coach and enjoy this victory, but it’s right back to work to improve on today,” explained Hamilton High West Head Coach Mike Papero
