Mar. 1: A pair of Princeton Day School seniors from Hamilton will be continuing their soccer careers at the Division I level next year, as Donovan Davis is headed for Elon College while CJ Uche will be playing for Bucknell.

Davis, nephew of famed attorney Daniel O’Donnell, was a first-team All Prep State selection this year, and helped the Panthers to the NJISAA Prep B title as a junior.

“Donovan is a hard-nosed competitor who we have relied upon in our midfield for the last three years,” PDS coach Ollie Hilliker said. “He’s gritty, tough and gets the job done when it’s needed. We’ll miss him.”

Uche was also named first-team All Prep State and also played on the 2016 state title winner.

“CJ is a quiet leader who raised our level from the first time he stepped on the field with a PDS uniform,” Hilliker said. “He’s a great young man who is a pleasure to coach.”
