Steinert’s James and Hamilton’s Laezza the season’s final 12th Man TD Club honorees

Dec. 3: The final 12th Man TD Club awards have been decided, and Hamilton West and Steinert were each honored by the Mercer County football organization.

Steinert junior end Josh James was named the Defensive Lineman of the Week. James made eight tackles, including two for loss, in the Spartans 24-0 loss to West on Thanksgiving. Josh also had three catches from his tight end position.

The Defensive Back of the Week was Hamilton sophomore linebacker Joey Laezza, who made 12 tackles, including three for a loss, in the victory.

The two will be honored Wednesday night, 6 p.m., at the year’s final dinner at Massimo’s Restaurant in Robbinsville. Also being honored that night is Hamilton junior record-setting running back Kevin “The Boz” Boswell, who is the Non-Prep Player of the Year.
