VIDEO: Steinert girls basketball tries to fit new pieces together

Jan. 8: The Steinert girls basketball team graduated nine of 14 seniors from last year’s team, including its top two scorers.

Thus, the Spartans have some work to do as far as creating chemistry and scoring points.

But things seem to slowly be coming together, as their victory at Nottingham tonight gave the Spartans their first winning streak of the season. Seniors Crysten Wood and Alex Haley have embraced the scoring role, as they had 14 and 12, respectively against the Northstars.
