Back the Blue

A “Back the Blue” Rally in support of local law enforcement is being held on Saturday, August 15, 2020.

The event organized by local residents including former Councilwoman Ileana Schirmer and is planned as “THANK YOU” to all the men and women in law enforcement to let them know we stand together with them. 

We are able to live in our communities in peace because we have law and order, because we have our men and women in law enforcement.  They are critical to our quality of life. I’m very excited that people from our community, surrounding communities, and from our state will be coming together at our beautiful Veteran’s Park to kick off the event with the car procession.  The procession is scheduled to leave the park at 10 a.m. and make its way to the VFW in Yardville.  There will be special guest speakers at the VFW that will help us celebrate and honor those in law enforcement.
