Hamilton Offers Free Flu Shots For Residents

Working to help residents avoid the flu, Mayor Kelly Yaede and the Township’s Division of Health have announced this year’s annual flu immunization clinics schedule.

The clinics are FREE  and for Hamilton residents only (proof of residency is required).

“This annual program is a great way for residents to receive a free immunization to help avoid the flu,” says Mayor Yaede. “I urge our community, especially those who might be more vulnerable to the effects of the flu, to consider receiving one of our free flu shots.”

Children ages nine and older may receive vaccinations, but minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  However, parents or guardians may wish to consult their physicians regarding vaccinations.

Flu vaccines are also available for homebound residents, by calling Hamilton’s Division of Health at 609.890.3884 to schedule an appointment.

Additionally, pneumonia vaccinations are available for Hamiltonians ages 65 and older or adults with chronic medical conditions.

Hamilton Township will hold flu clinics on the following date and time:

Monday, October 3
Nottingham Firehouse
200 Mercer Street
Hamilton, NJ 08690
5 PM – 8 PM
