June 30:
Rather than travel to other parts of the region for their 4th of July tournaments, Hamilton Township American Legion baseball teams are bringing the tournament here.

Each team will play three games Friday-through-Sunday and the top two will meet on Monday morning for the championship game at DeMeo Field. Food and drink stands will be available at Steinert and Veterans Park, and the legendary Chuck Wagon will be in operation Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is free. There will be 50-50s during each game, with proceeds going to the Sunshine Foundation.
