Trenton Catholic Academy Girls Basketball take 2018 MCT Crown

The Trenton Catholic Academy girls basketball team took home the 2018 Mercer County Tournament Trophy for their 8th time as the Lady Mikes’ topped Pennington Prep Red Raiders by a final score of 59-55.

“What a speacial group of young ladies that work so hard – tonight it paid off,” said Trenton Catholic head coach Bob Fusik

TCA’s Jada Queen was named the tournament MVP and finished with 19 points, eight rebounds and eight steals for the winners.

“Our defense is how we get our points.”  “The defense is what we work on the most, so if we can’t rely on our defense, we really can’t do anything,” explained Queen.
