Hamilton to Honor Local Business Leaders at Economic Commission’s Awards Celebration

The Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission have announced the 2017 Award Recipients for the 42nd annual Hamilton Township Economic Development Distinguished Achievement Awards Celebration. 

This year’s distinguished award recipients include:

Small Business Award – Jersey Girl Cafe

Large Business Award – Merlin Industries

Non-Profit Award – The Jeremy Fund

Maurice T. Perilli Business Volunteer of the Year Award – Joyce Cantalice

Mayor’s Beautification Award – The Stone Terrace by John Henry

Mayor’s Dedication to Community Service Award – CYO of Mercer County

Impact Award – Wawa

“Each year, our awards celebration is a way for our community to recognize the businesses and leaders who have so greatly contributed to our local economy in Hamilton Township,” says Mayor Kelly Yaede.  “This year’s class of awards recipients has truly made a positive difference in our community, and I am looking forward to honoring them later this year.”

The annual awards dinner will take place on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at The Stone Terrace by John Henry’s located at 2275 Kuser Road, Hamilton, NJ 08690, beginning with networking and cocktails at 5:30 PM followed by dinner at 6:30 PM. 

“Our local businesses not only provide our residents with great services, they also help expand economic opportunities, provide jobs, support our school sports teams and local charitable efforts, as well as help improve our quality of life in Hamilton,” says Council President Dennis Pone, who is the co-owner of a Hamilton-based, family business.  “This annual celebration is a great way to simply say ‘thank you’ for everything our local businesses and leaders do for our community.”
