It’s the largest community event in Mercer County’s largest town; and on Sunday, October 15, 2017, Hamilton’s Oktoberfest returns to Veterans Park for one fun-filled day of autumn excitement.
The community event, which was held for the first-time ever last year, will take place from 11 AM to 7 PM and feature family favorite events like amusements, a pumpkin patch, hay rides, a corn maze, crafters, vendors and much more.
As a new addition, a fire pit area will be a place for attendees to gather to warm up if the October temperatures cool.
At 4 PM, a concert featuring Renaissance Orchestra – an eclectic band that has played Hamilton’s Independence Fireworks and Concert in the past – will take center stage at Veterans Park.
Following the concert, fireworks will cap off the evening and allow Oktoberfest’s younger attendees to get to bed early enough for school the next day!
“For our second annual Oktoberfest, we have planned a fun-packed day so that our families can enjoy the festivities and fireworks all at once,” explains Mayor Kelly Yaede. “If you missed last year’s inaugural celebration, you will not want to miss this year’s exciting community event – which will be a great way to enjoy autumn in Hamilton!”
