Nottingham, HTRBA win in District 12 Little League Tournament Opener

June 30, 2018: The road to Williamsport for 3 Hamilton area 12-year-old Little League teams has officially started with 2 of the 3 teams winning their opening games in the District 12 Little League Tournament.

HTRBA tops Robbinsville by a final of 10 to 2.

HTRBA combined for 8 hits which included a bases-loaded triple by starting pitcher, Chris Babkowski that blew the game wide open in the 4th.

Babokowski combined with, Luke Nelson and Noali Ortiz for a strong pitching performance against a strong hitting Robbinsville team.

“Our pitching was phenomenal today and we played as a team, everybody made plays, we were consistent at the plate”  stated HTRBA head coach Mike Septak

Nottingham bats explode against Sunnybrae

The gang from Sayen Park, who won the district as both 10 and 11-year-olds wasted no time showing their serious about winning another title together as they picked up the win against Sunnybrae Little League by a final of 15 to 0.

Nottingham combined for 13 hits putting the hammer down in the 6th scoring 8 of their 15 runs and didn’t commit a single error in the field.

Deacon Bowne went four and two-thirds innings on the mount for Nottingham, allowing only one hit and no runs while striking out nine and not allowing a single free pass.
