Steinert boys and girls lacrosse teams handle Northstars in Vets Park doubleheader

Apr. 30: It was Nottingham-Steinert night all over the place at Veterans Park tonight. And while it went the Northstars way on the diamond, it was all Spartans on the lacrosse field.

The Steinert boys improved to 6-7 with a 15-3 victory over the Northstars, as Anthony Cacace exploded for six goals and two assists. Jared Dudich added two goals and two assists, Ryan Kieffer had two goals, and Cole Nelson and Evan McGovern each had a goal and an assist. Doug Hollo, Thomas McGovern and Aidan Ryan also scored for the Spartans, while goalie Todd Jewell had nine saves.

The Spartan girls moved to 6-2 with a 15-5 win over Nottingham; but no details were available.
