Hamilton High West and Steinert High School boys and girls varsity soccer will duel it out at Cowell Field in Veterans Park in the second installation of the “Patriot Games”.

The boys will play at 5:15 pm and the girls game will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

As part of the series of games, the high school teams will be wearing red, white and blue socks to show their patriotic spirit.  Additionally, as part of the series, the teams will be selling tee-shirts as a fundraiser of which proceeds will benefit the Hamilton Township Patriotic Committee.

The Patriotic Committee uses these funds as part of their efforts to promote patriotism through the various veterans memorials displayed at the entrances to Veterans Park, such as the recently installed monument to the United States Coast Guard.

The first series of games, between Steinert and Nottingham, drew thousands of local soccer fans.

As both Steinert girls and boys edged out victories.
