Jake will be Fanning the baseball flames at Widener

Nottingham High senior Jake Fanning made it official that he will continue his academic and baseball career next year at Widener University, where he will be re-united with former teammates Tom McParland and Bryce Fremgen. Fanning is flanked by his dad, Bill, and his mom, Kelley, while Nottingham vice-principal Dawn White and baseball coach Jim Maher also look on.

Proud product of Hamilton YMCA and Lou Gehrig baseball leagues and former teammate of Jim Maher on a very average Barton & Cooney rec basketball team, Fish graduated from Nottingham Junior High and Steinert High school and has covered township sports since 1980.
